Bernardo Lessa
Distribution of Films and Audiovisual
Graduated with honours in Film and Audiovisual (UFPE), Bernardo Lessa has more than 5 years of career, he is currently the Business and Institutional Relations Coordinator at Vitrine Filmes and is taking a postgraduate degree in Audiovisual Business at FAAP. In 2021, he was the only Latin among the 8 world selected for the Young Talents program (U30) at the Locarno Film Festival. His story started in the Joaquim Nabuco Fundation's Movie Theater inthe Programming, Curatorship and Marketing team, still at the city of Recife he participated in the organization of more than 20 film festivals and television series (Futura's TV Channel).
He is a researcher and also teaches in the area of Audiovisual Public Policies, he was one of the creators of training projects for market professionals such as Vitrine Lab and @TantoCinema. Born in Salvador (BA), at just 24 years old, Bernardo has participated in the release of more than 25 films such as the 2021 Oscar winner “Druk - Another Round” (Thomas Vinterberg), and the 2019 Cannes awardee “Invisible Life” (Karim Ainouz). He is passionate about communication, teamwork and was born curious type of person.
